To fill up gaps in the prior art, the smart inspectionsystem for the chickens raised in the cages comprises a chicken house and the inspection robot; the inspection robot comprises a cabinet and a stand column; wheels are arranged on the lower side of the cabinet; the stand column is fixed to the cabinet; a thermal imaging camera is fixed to the stand column; the wheels include a left front wheel, a right front wheel and an universal caster, the left front wheel is provided with a left shaft and a left driving motor, and the right front wheel is provided with a right shaft and a right driving motor; a magnetic guiding inspection circuit is formed by linear guiding magnetic strips and arc-shaped guiding magnetic strips; 5-cm empty zones are formed between the linear guiding magnetic strips and the arc-shaped guiding magnetic strips, and are located at the tail ends of the linear guiding magnetic strips or the arc-shaped guiding magnetic strips. The smart inspection system has the advantages of low cost, small disturbance to the chickens during operation, capability of completely substituting for manual inspection of the chickens raised in the cages, and wide application to chicken farms for broiler chickens or laying hens raised in the cages.
