The present disclosure generally relates to sunscreen compositions that are suitable for topical application to human skin and hair. More particularly, the disclosure relates to sprayable sunscreen compositions having improved water resistance and a low overall percentage of sunscreen actives. To achieve the improved water resistance, a dimethicone derivative is incorporated into the sunscreen compositions.

Disclosed are porous ceramic honeycomb articles, such as filters, which are composed predominately of a cordierite composition. The ceramic honeycomb articles possess a porous microstructure characterized by a unique combination of relatively high porosity (>45%), and moderately narrow pore size distribution wherein greater than 15% and less than 38% of the total porosity exhibits a pore diameter less than 10 μm, and low CTE wherein CTE≦6.0×10⁻⁷/° C. Compositions and methods are described herein for use in packaging having improved moisture vapor barrier properties. In certain embodiments of the present invention, packaging articles can be made having improved oxygen barrier properties as well. Compositions of the present invention can comprise a low molecular weight hydrogenated aliphatic resin and either a high density polyethylene or a branched or linear low density polyethylene.
