The invention discloses a thickness detecting probe for a wheel type pipeline
detector. The thickness detecting probe is designed for precisely detecting the wall thickness of a pipeline. A thickness detecting wheel, supporting wheels, a sliding ring seat and end covers of the thickness detecting probe are connected to supporting arms connected with a
detector frame through a shaft, and run together in the pipeline along with the
detector. The sliding ring seat is fixed in the end covers, and rotates along with the thickness detecting wheel and the supporting wheels, and sliding rings are fixed in the sliding ring seat, and are in
close contact with carbon
brush devices. Ultrasonic probe bodies are arranged in the thickness detecting wheel and used for achieving
sound field coupling between the ultrasonic probe bodies and the
pipe wall.
Metal blocks are embedded in the supporting wheels, the
metal blocks and a proximity switch on the supporting arms act together, and ultrasonic signals are excited to be generated. The probe is suitable for being used for pipeline deformation,
corrosion and crack detectors, the length of the supporting arms is adjustable, the supporting arms and the detector can be integrated conveniently, the probe can be suitable for requirements for detection of pipelines of different calibers, it is guaranteed that detection signals are precise, lasting and stable, supporting performance is good, adaptability,
impact resistance and abrasion resistance are high, and the service life is long.
