The invention provides a method for preventing and treating aspermia and
necrospermia of a breeding
boar. The method employs a combination of a
traditional Chinese medicine therapy and a western
medical therapy. According to the western
medical therapy, 100 to 150 mg of a
testosterone propionate injection is used for cervical
intramuscular injection once
every other day, and altogether four injection operations are carried out; and three to five
vitamin C capsules and two to three
vitamin AD capsules are simultaneously fed with a feed each time, and the capsules are fed for a consecutive period of seven days. According to the
traditional Chinese medicine therapy, traditional Chinese medicinal raw materials are mixed and powdered and then orally taken by the breeding
boar, wherein the traditional Chinese medicinal raw materials consist of, by weight, 25 to 35 parts of dodder seeds, 25 to 35 parts of Chinese magnoliavine fruit, 25 to 35 parts of wolfberries, 25 to 35 parts of raspberries, 45 to 55 parts of Herba Epimedii, 45 to 55 parts of
eucommia bark and 20 to 30 parts of
cassia bark; one dosage of the powdered traditional Chinese medicinal raw materials is taken each day and taken twice each day; and the powdered traditional Chinese medicinal raw materials are taken for consecutive period of five days. With the method provided by the invention, breeding boars with aspermia and
necrospermia have more sensitive visual sense and hearing and are fond of standing and moving; little foam
saliva flows out from the mouths of the breeding boars; normally after five days, the breeding boars have good
appetite, improved sexual desire and a body temperature increase of about 0.3 DEG C, and the result of microscopic examination of seminal fluids shows that a great number of sperms are moving; and normally, aspermia and
necrospermia can be thoroughly treated after
continuous treatment for 7 to 10 days.
