The system includes a server having software which gathers the purchasing information from a consumer to complete a purchasing transaction over a network. The software is able to access the consumer data structure and enter the consumer's purchasing information during subsequent purchases. A method of manufacturing an inductor includes a lamination step, a division step, a firing step, and a plating step. In the lamination step, a laminate including an insulator, a coil body, and external electrodes is formed. That is, in the lamination step, insulating layers having wide filling conductors, insulating layers having narrow filling conductors, and conductor patterns having external electrode patterns are laminated. A multi-chip package comprising a carrier, at least a package module, an insulation layer and a patterned metallic layer is provided. The package module is mounted onto one of the surfaces of the carrier. The package module has a plurality of stacked chips electrically connected to each other using a flip chip bonding technique. The insulation layer has a plurality of via holes linked to the surface of the carrier and the package module. Depth of the via holes in a direction perpendicular to the surface of the carrier is greater than height of the package module in the same direction. The patterned metallic layer is formed over the insulation layer and fills the via holes, serving as interconnecting lines inside the multi-chip package.

In a new packaging method for light management films in displays, such as liquid crystal displays, a stack of two or more optical films is held together before insertion into the display frame. The stack includes at least two of the films that are adhered together using adhesive positioned outside the viewing area of the films. Embodiments of the present invention pertain to methods of forming features on a substrate using a self-aligned double patterning (SADP) process. A conformal layer of non-sacrificial material is formed over features of sacrificial structural material patterned near the optical resolution of a photolithography system using a high-resolution photomask. An anisotropic etch of the non-sacrificial layer leaves non-sacrificial ribs above a substrate. A gapfill layer deposited thereon may be etched or polished back to form alternating fill and non-sacrificial features. No hard mask is needed to form the non-sacrificial ribs, reducing the number of processing steps involved.
