The invention provides a building sand and stone automatic drying and separating method. The method includes the steps of firstly, conveying a sand and stone mixture to the input end of an air dryingmechanism by a conveying device, making the sand and stone mixture vertically fall down, and air-drying the sand and stone mixture when the mixture falls from the input end to the output end; then, discharging the sand and stone mixture from the output end of the air drying mechanism to fall into a sieve tray, heating a filter screen, a built-in boss and a tray bottom by a heater, and drying the sand and stone mixture by the sieve tray; then, driving the sieve tray to rotate by a driving mechanism, screening out sand by the filter screen, and discharging the sand until the sand is all discharged; and finally, driving the tray bottom to float upwards by the driving mechanism so as to open the sieve tray, and discharging stone out of the sieve tray from openings formed in an internal circumferential surface of the built-in boss, and discharging the stone under the guidance of an inclined plate and a discharge hopper. The building sand and stone automatic drying and separating method hasthe beneficial effects that it is avoided that sand and stone are caked due to dampness and are difficult to separate, and the sand and stone which are caked due to dampness can be sufficiently separated.
