In the processing of photographic films, plates or papers, the photographic developer (or just developer) is one or more chemicals that convert the latent image to a visible image. Developing agents achieve this conversion by reducing the silver halides, which are pale-colored, into silver metal, which is black (when a fine particle). The conversion occurs within the gelatine matrix. The special feature of photography is that the developer acts more quickly on those particles of silver halides that have been exposed to light. Paper left in developer will eventually reduce all the silver halides and turn black. Generally, the longer a developer is allowed to work, the darker the image.

The electrophotographic developing agent can maintain a stable charge and charge distribution of the toner over a long period due to the addition of the external additives. The external additives prevent the fogging and the image contamination in a cycle of a charging roller.

The invention relates to a sensible heat composition for a thermosensitive CTP (Computer to Plate) plate. The thermosensitive composition comprises a perether compound of one or more low molecular phenolic compounds as a dissolution inhibitor or a solutizer, and the molecular weight of the low molecular phenolic compound is 100-400. Furthermore, the invention also relates to a method for preparing the positive thermosensitive CTP plate without preheating. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) sequentially carrying out rough treatment, anodic oxidation treatment and sealing treatment on an aluminum plate base; (2) carrying out plate coating on the aluminum plate base through the sealing treatment by using the thermosensitive CTP (Computer to Plate) plate; (3) carrying out two-section drying on the coated aluminum plate base obtained in the step (2), wherein the first section is dried by using a far infrared ray to heat, while the second section is dried by using forced hot blast, thereby obtaining the positive thermosensitive CTP plate without preheating. The plate produced in the invention has favorable appearance, higher sensitivity, favorable development latitude and higher print run and can be used in cooperation with photographic developers universally utilized at home and abroad.

Provided is an electrophotographic developing agent including: toner particles including a binder resin, a colorant, and a charge control agent; and an external additive added to the surface of the toner particles, wherein the external additive includes at least one inorganic particulate component and at least two types of strontium titanate particulate component having different mean primary particle diameters. Typically, the inorganic particulate component is not strontium titanate. Also, an electrophotographic image forming apparatus using the electrophotographic developing agent is provided. The strontium titanate particulate component having different mean primary particle diameters are used as an external additive to maintain uniform charging characteristics and to prevent fog in a non-image area, thereby obtaining good image quality. Two-component developer in an electrophotographic (EP) printer is replenished. Image data are received and a corresponding latent image is produced. Toner is supplied to the latent image by bringing developer containing toner particles and carrier particles into proximity with the latent image on the photoreceptor using a toning member, so that toner particles are removed from the developer to produce depleted developer. The depleted developer is transported to a return channel, along which it is moved at a channel speed. A processor automatically estimates, as a replenishment amount of toner to be added to the return channel, the amount of toner supplied to the latent image in a diagonal swath on the photoreceptor defined by the process surface speed and the channel speed using the received image data.
