The invention provides a method for producing
baicalin. The method includes the step S1 of taking 150 grams of
scutellaria baicalensis root coarse
powder, adding 1.2 kilograms of water with the temperature
ranging from 90 DEG C to 100 DEG C and standing for 20 min, the step S2 of conducting filtering, adding 700 grams of water with the temperature
ranging from 90 DEG C to 100 DEG C to residues, standing for 20 min, and combining the mixture with filter liquor, the step S3 of adding
hydrochloric acid to regulate the pH value to be 2, conducting water-bath heating till the temperature reaches 80 DEG C, standing for 30 min, and washing
sediment on the lower layer with water at the temperature of 80 DEG C to obtain coarse total
flavones, the step S4 of adding ethyl
alcohol to the coarse total
flavones, and adding
acetone to wash the mixture so as to obtain resin-shaped residues, the step S5 of recycling the ethyl
alcohol soak solution and the
acetone soak solution, wherein the matter which is not dissolved in the ethyl
alcohol and the
acetone is the crude product of
baicalin, and the step S6 of adding ethyl alcohol to the coarse product of
baicalin, conducting water bath for 30 min, conducting filtering, adding methyl alcohol, and conducting
crystallization, filtering and
drying to obtain baicalin. The method is high in baicalin collection rate, and by improving the process, the collection rate is increased and process parameters are optimized.
