The invention belongs to the field of
trace mineral analysis and detection, and relates to an identification and semi-quantitative
analysis method for micro-fine particle
rare earth minerals in
coal /
coal ash, which comprises the following steps: scanning to obtain gray scale reference values of carbon and
copper in a gray scale standard sample of
coal or coal ash, and scanning and detecting gray scale standard threshold values of all components in the gray scale standard sample within the range of the gray scale reference values of carbon and
copper; based on the particle size range of the
rare earth minerals in the gray scale standard sample, optimizing view field parameters and setting an identification gray scale threshold range; preliminary scanning is carried out to pick up potential
rare earth mineral particles, then secondary scanning is carried out on the potential
rare earth mineral particles, and
energy spectrum semi-quantitative analysis is carried out on a scanning image to identify accurate
rare earth mineral particles; and determining the types of main characteristic elements of the accurate
rare earth mineral particles, obtaining the element ratio and the content limiting standard, and establishing a rare earth mineral
energy spectrum identification
database to judge the phase types of the accurate rare earth
mineral particles. By means of the method, accurate analysis of the fine rare earth minerals in the complex coal sample is achieved.
