In a preferred embodiment, electrolyzed basic water is used in the first stage high-pH rinse step and electrolyzed acid water is used in the second stage neutralizing solution step. Test results prove that the 2-hydroxy-N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-benzamide can inhibit activity of intracellular tyrosinase of B16 cells at the cellular level, thus effectively reducing the amount of melanin synthesized by the B16 cells, and therefore the 2-hydroxy-N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-benzamide compounds can be used for preventing food brownness degeneration, preparing medicines treating hyperpigmentation skin diseases and preparing whitening cosmetics.
