The invention discloses a
transformer on-line monitoring device, a use method and a
transformer fault diagnosis method. The device comprises a photoacoustic chamber, and a parabolic mirror, an
infrared light source, a modulation disc and a filter disc which are sequentially arranged above the photoacoustic chamber from top to bottom. An air inlet and an air outlet are formed in the photoacoustic chamber; microphones are arranged below the air inlet and above the air outlet of the photoacoustic chamber; the using method of the device comprises: reflecting and focusing upward incident light generated by the
infrared light source by the parabolic mirror to generate a downward
light beam, the downward
light beam entering the modulation disc, the frequency of the downward
light beam being modulated by the modulation disc and then entering the filter disc, and the downward light beam being split by the filter disc and then entering the photoacoustic chamber; a gas sample in
transformer oil entering the photoacoustic chamber from the gas inlet absorbing
light source energy and immediately releasing the light source energy, causing periodic
mechanical pressure waves in the photoacoustic chamber to generate sound
waves, and detecting the sound
waves by the
microphone; carrier gas and a
chromatographic column do not need to be consumed, the sensor is good in stability, and maintenance-free can be achieved in long-term use.
