The invention discloses a cylindrical pile leg, and belongs to the field of ocean platforms. The cylindrical pile leg comprises a pile leg barrel. The bottom end of the pile leg barrel is used for being connected with a pile shoe. The cylindrical pile leg further comprises submerged pumps, drain pipes and a remote control valve. The remote control valve is arranged on the side wall, close to the bottom end, of the pile leg barrel and is used for controlling whether an inner cavity of the pile leg barrel communicates with the outer portion of the pile leg barrel or not. The submerged pumps arearranged at the bottom of the inner cavity of the pile leg barrel. The drain pipes are arranged in the inner cavity of the pile leg barrel. One end of each drain pipe is connected with the corresponding submerged pump, and the other end of each drain pipe stretches out of the top of the pile leg barrel. When a self-elevating ocean platform prepares pile standing, the remote control valve is opened, seawater passes through the valve to enter the pile leg, seawater pressure inside and outside the pile leg is offset, external loads borne by the pile leg are reduced, the wall thickness of the pileleg barrel is reduced, the weight of the pile leg is reduced, and the manufacturing cost and manufacturing difficulty of the pile leg are reduced.
