A method and system for identifying harmful airborne biota, particularly insects, and including plant material, such as mold spores and pollen, and flying insects and birds and either killing ordisabling the harmful airborne biota is disclosed. Lasers, radar, and other types of radiation may be used to illuminate at least a perimeter around assets to be protected, with radiation returns detected and applied to a pattern classifier to determine whether the detected insects of interests are harmful, benign or beneficial. In the event the insects are determined to be harmful, a variety of measures responsive to the radiation returns may be taken to eliminate the harmful insects, these measures including firing pulses of beamed energy or radiation of a sufficient intensity to at least incapacitate them, or mechanical measures such as controlled drone aircraft to track and kill the pests.

The invention relates to a preparation method of a mold spore product. The preparation method comprises the following steps: inoculating molds onto a solid culture medium containing millet and bran; eluting mold spores from the solid culture medium by using an elution solution after the molds are grown fully on the surface of the solid culture medium, so as to obtain a spore elution solution; filtering and centrifugally washing the spore elution solution to obtain a spore precipitate; then processing the spore precipitate into the mold spore product. By using the bran and the millet as the culture medium, the sporulation quantity is greatly increased, and the maturation time of the spores is shortened. In addition, compared with a conventional spore suspension product, the spore powder product has the advantages that the storage time is greatly extended, and the spore suspension concentration is basically not changed after re-dissolution. An apparatus is disclosed, for filtering, containing and removing mold spores and other undesirable particulates in conjunction with a conventional vacuum cleaner. The invention discloses a method for producing mold spore powder by fermentation of crop straws and relates to the technical field of comprehensive utilization of the crop straws. According to the method, the crop straws are taken as a main material and subsidiary agricultural products are taken as auxiliary materials to inoculate mold spores, and then the spore powder is prepared by means of aerobic fermentation.
