65 results about "Hypochlorous acid" patented technology

Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is a weak acid that forms when chlorine dissolves in water, and itself partially dissociates, forming hypochlorite, ClO⁻. HClO and ClO⁻ are oxidizers, and the primary disinfection agents of chlorine solutions. HClO cannot be isolated from these solutions due to rapid equilibration with its precursor. Sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) and calcium hypochlorite (Ca(ClO)₂), are bleaches, deodorants, and disinfectants.

An electrocatalytic oxidation device for treating saline industrial organic wastewater and its operating method

ActiveCN121449174BEffective reductive dechlorinationcontrol energy consumptionWater/sewage treatment by irradiationSpecific water treatment objectivesCatalytic oxidationHypochlorous acid
This invention relates to the field of industrial wastewater treatment technology, and discloses an electrocatalytic oxidation device and its operating method for treating saline industrial organic wastewater. Wastewater enters the reaction chamber through the bottom inlet, is forced through the anode channels, and undergoes an electrochemical oxidation reaction on the anode surface to convert chloride ions into hypochlorous acid. A vacuum ultraviolet light source performs in-situ photolysis of water molecules and hypochlorous acid, exciting various active species, including strongly reducing hydrated electrons, strongly oxidizing hydroxyl radicals, and chloride radicals. This device, through the construction of a reduction-oxidation system, can efficiently degrade various pollutants with both electron-rich and electron-deficient characteristics. This invention utilizes the synergistic coupling of electrochemical generation and photochemical conversion to convert high-concentration chloride ions into active precursors, effectively overcoming the bottlenecks of low degradation efficiency and poor selectivity in traditional technologies for high-salt and complex water quality, and significantly improving the system's mineralization efficiency and energy utilization rate.

This invention is related to the fields of medical biotechnology, nanobiotechnology, and nanomedicine. It involves a nanomedicine product that can release HOC1 (hypochlorous acid) at the tumor site in a controlled manner to treat lung cancer. HOC1 is a potent antimicrobial and antitumor agent that can target tumor tissues while minimizing damage to healthy tissues. The produced nanoparticles have a two-layer structure: the inner layer contains alginate, PFP (perfluoropentane), and Ca(OCl)2 to release HOC1, and the outer layer has a chitosan coating with folate and salicylic acid for targeting and proton release. The production process involves nanoemulsion and coating with the ionic gelation technique. When the nanoparticles are delivered to the lungs and targeted to cancer cells with folate, ultrasound radiation triggers the release of HOC1 to induce apoptosis and destroy cancer cells effectively, reducing side effects and improving treatment outcomes for lung cancer patients.

A purification device and method for converting chlorine-containing aqueous solution into hydrogen chloride.

This invention relates to the field of water purification equipment technology, and discloses a purification machine and method for converting chlorine-containing water into hydrogen chloride-containing liquid. The purification method involves connecting municipal tap water, surface water, or groundwater to a pre-treatment tank via an input pipe equipped with valve A for filtration. The water then enters a reaction tank via valve B. An external chlorine generator is connected to a chlorine detection and regulator via valve C. After the chlorine detection and regulator, a chlorine pipe leads into the reaction tank, where chlorine disinfects the water and reacts with it to produce hydrochloric acid and hypochlorous acid. The water then undergoes deep filtration in a high-adsorption chlorine integrated chamber. A valve D connects the high-adsorption chlorine integrated chamber to an external hydrogen generation device. After filtration, the water enters a temperature-controlled photosynthetic unit, where hypochlorous acid is decomposed to form a stable hydrochloric acid-containing liquid. Finally, the liquid passes through a monitoring device and enters a pressure regulating and storage tank. This invention effectively improves the purification purity of drinking water containing hydrogen chloride.
