The invention relates to a solar cell backboard packaging material and preparing method thereof. Components and weight quotient of the solar cell backboard packaging material are: PET resin of 40-60 quotient, polyamide of 20-40 quotient, polyvinyl fluoride of 15-25 quotient, titanium pigment of 0.5-2 quotient, anti-aging agent of 0.5-2 quotient, and EVA resin of 10-30 quotient. The preparing method includes steps: (1) mixing the PET resin, the polyamide, the polyvinyl fluoride, the titanium pigment and the anti-aging agent equally, drying, heating, extruding, and stretching to basal film; (2)coating the EVA resin on one side of the basal film and obtaining the solar cell backboard packaging material. Advantages of the prepared solar cell backboard packaging material are simple preparing technique and excellent capability. Solar panel packaged by the solar cell backboard packaging material is high and low temperature resistant, acid and base resistant, wind drift sand resistant, not delaminated, not chapped, and not aging for 25 years.
