This application discloses a method, electronic device, and computer-readable storage medium for monitoring a fuel
cell. The method includes: obtaining a first set of variables using a first model based on sensor signals from the fuel
cell; the first model being used to predict the degradation state of the electrochemical active area of the fuel
cell; obtaining predicted data of the electrochemical active area of the fuel
cell based on the first set of variables; obtaining a first
voltage value of the fuel cell using a second model based on current data of the fuel cell and the predicted data of the electrochemical active area of the fuel cell; obtaining target data characterizing the degradation state of the electrochemical active area of the fuel cell using a third model based on the difference between the measured
voltage value of the fuel cell and the first
voltage value; and the third model being used to correct the predicted data of the electrochemical active area of the fuel cell.
