A method of operating a mass spectrometer, comprising: generating ions from a sample; mass filtering the ions using a quadrupole mass filter having a set of selection parameters to transmit ions within at least one selected range of mass-to-charge ratios narrower than an initial range, wherein the quadrupole comprises four parallel elongate electrodes arranged in opposing pairs to which are applied RF and DC, wherein an attractive DC voltage is applied to one pair of opposing electrodes and a repulsive DC voltage is applied to the other pair; mass analysing or detecting the ions transmitted by the quadrupole mass filter; repeating the steps of generating ions, mass filtering and mass analysing or detecting multiple times; switching a configuration of the pairs of opposing electrodes to which the attractive DC voltage and the repulsive DC voltage are applied multiple times over the course of repeating the steps so that over long term operation the build-up of contamination on each pair of opposing electrodes is substantially equal; and determining mass filtering steps for which quantitative accuracy should be maintained between them and for the determined mass filtering steps maintaining the same configuration of the pairs of opposing electrodes to which the attractive DC voltage and the repulsive DC voltage are applied. The width of the selected mass range may change by not more than 10% when the ion transmission efficiency mass filter falls by 50% or more due to the build-up of contamination on the electrodes.

The superconducting thin film resonator consists of an open superconducting thin film outer ring (2) and a superconducting thin film magnetic flux focuser (3), wherein the open superconducting thin film outer ring (2) is arranged on a single crystal substrate (1) in a plating mode, and the superconducting thin film magnetic flux focuser (3) is arranged inside the open superconducting thin film outer ring (2). Three stepped-impedances are formed by four edges of the open superconducting thin film outer ring (2). The width of each stepped-impedance is 0.15mm-0.85mm, and the three stepped-impedances are different in width. A magnetic flux focus hole (4) is formed in the middle of the superconducting thin film magnetic flux focuser (3). A single complementation open ring (5) is arranged between the magnetic focus hole and the superconducting thin film of the superconducting thin film magnetic flux focuser. The single complementation open ring (5) is used for strengthening a magnetism gathering effect of the superconducting thin film magnetic flux focuser. Due to the fact that the single complementation open ring (5) is added, the superconducting thin film resonator has the advantages of not only strengthening coupling performance between the superconducting thin film magnetic flux focuser and a gasket of a radio frequency superconducting quantum interferometer, but also increasing effective area of the superconducting thin film resonator under the condition that system complexity is not increased, improving sensitivity of a probe of a radio frequency superconducting quantum interferometer, and being capable of being used in manufacture of the radio frequency superconducting quantum interferometer.

The dual-electric pump cable penetrating packer comprises a main joint. The lower part of the main joint is of a stepped structure and is composed of a main operation pipe hole, a deflation valve hole, a first set of cable holes, a reserved hole, a control line hole and a second set of cable holes. Six cables can penetrate the first set of cable holes and the second set of cable holes respectively. Compared with the prior art, the entire mechanism of the dual-electric pump cable penetrating packer is symmetrically distributed, thus being convenient to be opened again. The dual-electric pump cable penetrating packer can be re-opened only through directly pulling up a string shear pin without the need of any other operation. Meanwhile, all cable holes are substantially the same in size and the centers of the cable holes are distributed in the same circle. In this way, the inner diameter of a mandrel can be maximized, so that the mandrel can be connected with an oil pipe of a larger inner diameter. A multi-aperture penetrating body is used for the penetration of dual-electric pump six cables respectively, thus being good in sealing performance and strong in pressure resistance. The highest pressure can reach 70 MPa.
