retention time of the drug-loaded lipid liquid crystal gel on the
ocular surface is longer, the lipid liquid crystal has a
phospholipid bilayer structure, and the drug-loaded lipid liquid crystal gel can be used for preparing the drug-loaded lipid liquid crystal precursor eye drops. Insoluble
raw material medicines can be distributed in the lipid layer, so that the
solubility of the raw material medicines is greatly improved, the raw material medicines can be slowly released by gelatinizing after meeting water, the administration frequency is reduced, the
bioavailability and
patient compliance are greatly improved, and the defects of the eye drops in treatment of
glaucoma are overcome.
