This solution discloses a portable
vegetation capsule method for
vegetation restoration on rocky slopes, applicable to the field of ecological restoration
engineering technology. The method includes five steps: manual slope clearing, preparation of a water-collecting and water-retaining granule-
sowing mixture, excavation of planting holes, planting in the
vegetation capsules, and post-planting maintenance. Water-collecting and water-retaining granules, native tree,
shrub, and grass seeds, and slow-release granular
fertilizer are mixed in a precise ratio, filled into biodegradable vegetation capsules, and then planted manually in the gravelly soil area of the rocky slope. The water-collecting and water-retaining granules expand upon contact with water, forming a sticky fibrous covering layer, which enhances seed adhesion, resists wind and rain
erosion, and continuously supplies
moisture. This invention is suitable for rocky slopes with a slope of ≤30°, and has the advantages of minimal slope disturbance, convenient construction, low cost, and high vegetation
survival rate, effectively achieving ecological restoration and soil and
water conservation on rocky slopes.
