The present invention discloses a method for preparing high performance water-proofing and anti-
corrosion paint. The components of the water-proofing and anti-
corrosion paint take waste
polystyrene plastic foams as a basal material. The water-proofing and anti-
corrosion paint also comprises rubber, colophony,
ethyl acetate,
toluene,
solvent and
toluene di-
isocyanate. According to weight portion mixture ratio, the basal material is weighted by 100 weight portion, and other components by weight portion of the water-proofing and anti-corrosion paint are: 30 to 60 weight portions of rubber, 10 to 20 weight portions of colophony, 30 to 60 weight portions of
ethyl acetate, 30 to 60 weight portions of
toluene, 50 to 70 weight portions of
solvent and 1 to 5 weight portions of toluene toluene di-
isocyanate. The preparing method comprises the following steps: firstly, placing fragments of the waste
polystyrene plastic foams used as the basal material in a reactor; secondly, adding the colophony, the
ethyl acetate, the toluene, the
solvent and the toluene toluene di-
isocyanate according to the mixture ratio, heating and dissolving the form plastics to be foamless; and finally, adding the rubber, mixing the components to be pasty, pulling out filaments and filtering. The paint prepared by the method has the advantages of high
dispersity and penetrability, good
weather resistance, acid, base and high
temperature resistance, low preservation requirement, stable performance, simple preparing process, low process condition and low integrated cost. In addition, the method uses the waste
polystyrene plastic foams as the basal material, thereby making waste into valuable and reducing the white
pollution.
