The invention discloses an organic coated fertilizer for planting eriobotrya japonica and a preparation method for the organic coated fertilizer. The organic coated fertilizer is prepared from the following raw materials by weight (in parts by weight): a 4-6wt% HCl solution, zinc oxide powder, citric acid, rice hull ash, ardealite, activated carbon, bagasse, peanut shells, pomelo peels, ammonium molybdate, magnesium sulfate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, an EM microbial agent, goat fecal pellets, lotus pond sludge, cellulose homogenate and water. The organic coated fertilizer is applicable to the planting of the eriobotrya japonica; the organic coated fertilizer gives priority to organic fermented materials, and the consumption of inorganic constituents is lowered, so that the organic coated fertilizer is beneficial to soil and is particularly applicable to fruit trees, i.e., long-term-growing plants, the content of organic matters in the soil is increased, the physiological activity of the fruit trees is promoted, the age limit of the fruit trees is prolonged, and the fruit trees are not prone to diseases and insect pests; and a proper amount of inorganic nutrients added are subjected to complexing by the citric acid, so that absorption is facilitated.
