The invention discloses a method for cultivating high-yield
plant types of
overwintering tomatoes in a
sunlight greenhouse. The method comprises the following steps of cultivating
overwintering tomatoes in the
sunlight greenhouse, selecting indeterminate growth type tomato varieties, firstly adopting single-
trunk whole-
branch vine hanging cultivation, when first main branches grow to have fifth-layer flower spikes, remaining 2 leaves, performing pinching and head changing for the first time, reserving a
side branch under fourth or fifth flower spikes as a second
main branch (new head) in advance, and performing
vine dropping for one time; when the second
main branch grows to have 2-3 leaves, additionally performing head changing for one time so as to promote fruit bearing at a lower layer;and when the head of the second
main branch grows to have tenth-layer flower spikes, remaining 2 leaves for
topping off. A repeated
chemical control method is adopted, the height of the first main
branch is controlled to be 150 cm, and the height of the second main
branch is controlled to be about 120 cm. About 4 fruits consistent in sizes are remained at each layer of flower spikes, and each tomato bears 10
layers of fruits. Through the adoption of the method disclosed by the invention, the upper-layer fruit bearing rate of the
plant types of the
overwintering tomatoes in the
sunlight greenhouse is high, the yield potential is large, the number of times for head changing is reduced, time and labor are saved, the effects of being ventilated and transparent are achieved, fruit branches arenot crowded, and the time of tomatoes appearing in the market is 10 days or above earlier.
