The invention relates to a plug capable of being automatically clamped. At present, electrical appliances are more and more common, various electrical appliances facilitate our modern life, and the stability and the safety of the use of electrical appliances are more and more important. A common plug is clamped via friction between a socket and the plug, however, the common plug is abraded as time passes by or is easily unplugged due to an accident, and accidental loss is brought to work. The plug comprises a plug body, wherein barbs are arranged on the tail ends of plug legs of the plug, each barb is an elastic conductive double-metal sheet, a movable electric insulation wedge is arranged in the middle of each barb, the wedge is connected onto a press button outside the plug, the press button is a resilient plug lock, when the press button is pressed down, the double-metal sheet close to the press button can be pushed open, and the barbs outwards extend to automatically clamp the socket, and when the press button is pressed once more, the press button is restored, the wedge retreats, the barbs on the double-metal sheet inwards shrink, and the plug can be smoothly unplugged. By the adoption of the design scheme, accidental loss caused by accidental dropping of the socket can be prevented.
