The invention discloses a method for directly extracting
lithium by carbon-assisted sulfating
roasting of
lepidolite, which comprises the following steps: 1) mixing
lepidolite, concentrated
sulfuric acid and water, and uniformly stirring to obtain
slurry; 2) adding an
iron source and a
carbon source into the
slurry, and uniformly stirring to obtain a mixed material; 3)
roasting the mixed material to obtain roasted clinker; (4) the roasted clinker is subjected to a water leaching reaction, and water leaching liquid and water leaching residues are obtained after filtering; and (5) the water leaching residues obtained in the step (4) are subjected to an alkaline leaching reaction, and a Na2SiO3 solution and Fe / Al multi-element
oxide residues are obtained after filtering. By introducing carbon and
iron oxide to assist sulfating
roasting of
lepidolite, the
decomposition temperature of iron-aluminum
sulfate is greatly reduced, and meanwhile it is ensured that
lithium-
potassium-
rubidium sulfate is not decomposed. According to the method, the
selective leaching rate of valuable
metal is remarkably increased, generation of
silicate is inhibited, the roasting
slag is converted into Fe / Al
oxide and SiO2 with utilization value, efficient
lithium extraction and comprehensive utilization of resources are achieved,
operability is enhanced, and application and popularization are easy.
