dimension measurement method based on a 3D visual sensor, and the method comprises the following steps: 1, carrying out the manual marking based on a 
standard model, selecting a 
point set needing to be detected for the 
standard model, and marking the basic geometric shapes, including points, lines, surfaces, circles and cylinders, of the 
point set; step 2, registering the scanning 
point cloud of the part to be measured with the 
standard model in the step 1 to unify a coordinate 
system, wherein the registering process comprises coarse registering and fine registering; and step 3, through point selection of the standard model in the step 1 and a 
point cloud registration process in the step 2, searching and further calculating a 
point set corresponding to the standard model in the to-be-measured 
point cloud and size data based on the 
minimum distance and the marked point set. According to the method, the industrial parts to be detected can be measured rapidly and accurately according to the design requirements of the industrial parts, the 
time complexity can meet the requirements of industrial production, and a plurality of industrial parts can be measured and analyzed.
