Snapshot service method and apparatus for application server

The invention discloses a snapshot service method and apparatus for an application server. The method includes the steps of acquiring at least two types of snapshot rules; setting an execution time ofeach snapshot rule in a timer; and sequentially controlling the timer to execute each snapshot rule according to the execution time. Therefore, by setting the execution time of each snapshot rule, the method realizes the execution of multiple snapshot rules according to the execution time in sequence so that information of an application server in the event of a failure can be more completely collected. In addition, since multiple snapshot rules can be executed, a user can customize and apply a corresponding snapshot rule to the application server snapshot service, the snapshot rule is therefore not limited to what the snapshot service provides by default and the customization degree of the snapshot rule is higher. In addition, the snapshot service apparatus for the application server also has the above effects.
