The invention relates to a
water leakage preventing method in the metallurgical field, in particular to a method for preventing
water leakage of the base of a coherent
oxygen lance of an electric furnace and a
water cooling plate under the base. The mounted
water cooling plate of the coherent
oxygen lance is divided into an upper
water cooling plate and a lower water cooling plate; the upper water cooling plate is made of steel, the original
radian at the middle part of the upper water cooling plate is straightened to ensure that the base of the coherent
oxygen lance bulges about 30 mm to the inner part of the electric furnace, so as to enlarge the distance between the coherent oxygen lance and a lower furnace liner and the distance between the lower water cooling plate and the lower furnace liner; the lower water cooling plate is made of
copper; the mounting position of the base of the coherent oxygen lance is raised by 200 mm upwards on the original basis, and both the upper water cooling plate and the lower water cooling plate are changed. The method can basically solve the problem of
water leakage of the base of the coherent oxygen lance and the water cooling plate under the base, greatly reduce
erosion and depletion to the lower liner of the furnace by the coherent oxygen lance, obviously prolong the electric furnace life, reduce the labor intensity of workers, improve the production
rhythm and reduce the production cost.
