An animal experiment shows that agars are subjected to biological enzymolysis to obtain the seaweed polypeptide which has the obvious effects of reducing the blood fat, the blood sugar and blood pressure; and after the seaweed polypeptide is taken for a long period, the weight can be prevented from too fast increase and the happening possibility of arteriosclerosis can be reduced.
