The invention discloses
traditional Chinese medicine for treating diabetes. Huidouba and guava leaves as used as main components, and components including
cinnamomum cassia, Chinese yam
rhizome,
dictyophora indusiata,
astragalus membranaceus and the like are mixed into the main components for preparing the
traditional Chinese medicine. The
traditional Chinese medicine is prepared from the following components in a
recipe in percentage by weight: 2 percent to 7 percent of
dictyophora indusiata, 2 percent to 5 percent of
cinnamomum cassia, 9 percent to 15 percent of
gardenia, 8 percent to 15 percent of guava leaves, 5 percent to 15 percent of zaocys dhumnade, 5 percent to 8 percent of
angelica dahurica, 3 percent to 9 percent of fructus citri, 10 percent to 16 percent of Huidouba, 8 percent to 20 percent of Chinese yam
rhizome, 5 percent to 10 percent of
kudzu root leaves, 8 percent to 12 percent of
astragalus membranaceus and 4 percent to 10 percent of corn stigma. During the
medicine taking, firstly, the Huidouba is treated through micro washing and is then mixed with other components; after the components are decocted and boiled for 20 minutes in an earthen pot, liquid is taken; one
dose is taken every day in 2 to 3 times; or the Huidouba is treated through micro washing and is then boiled to the boiling state for 15 minutes in the earthen pot; and the liquid is taken; and the rest
medicine is made into pills or granules to be taken at the same time. The traditional Chinese
medicine composition has the main function of controlling, relieving and treating the diabetes; the
curative effect taking speed is high; and the diabetes cannot easily reoccur. The traditional Chinese medicine has low dependency and small toxic or side effects; the aging of
insulin cells can be reduced; and the induction of various inductions can be prevented.
