The invention relates to application of a disulfide compound in crop protection. The invention discloses application of the disulfide compound shown by a structural formula (I) in serving as a plant growth regulator, a soil disinfectant or a pesticide synergist, wherein R1 and R2 independently represent C1-C6 alkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, C2-C6 alkenyl, phenyl, tolyl, benzyl, fnrfuryl and furyl respectively. The citrus essential oil contains grapefruit essential oil and orange peel essential oil.
