The method comprises the following steps: a, connecting a material storage box, a homogenate tank and a coating chamber into integrated homogenate coating equipment by virtue of a conveying pipeline; b, controlling the humidity in the material storage box and the homogenate tank to be in a range of 0-10% RH; c, adding a homogenate solvent and a negative electrode material into the material storage box, and controlling the humidity in the material storage box to be in a range of 0-10% RH; d, guiding the homogenate solvent and the negative electrode material into the homogenate tank for stirring; e, checking the solid content, viscosity and fineness of the homogenate, and preparing for discharging and coating; f, controlling the ambient humidity of the coating chamber to be 0-30% RH, starting to coat, and baking to obtain a negative plate coil. According to the homogenate coating method provided by the invention, a phenomenon that moisture in a lithium titanate homogenate absorbing environment is in a gel state in the homogenate coating process is eliminated, a gas expansion problem of a lithium titanate battery is reduced to a certain degree, and the electrical properties of the battery are improved.
