The invention relates to the technologies of
microwave and transmission lines, and specifically relates to a double-C structure SIW
transmission line. The
transmission line has the high-Q, low-loss and low-leakage characteristics. According to the invention, all rows of
metal cylinders of a conventional SIW
transmission line are replaced by the upper and lower rows of sheet arc
metal pieces whichare staggered, wherein all sheet arc
metal pieces are the same, and the internal diameters of the arcs are D. The
shortest distance D of the adjacent sheet arc metal pieces in a
single row is d, the
shortest distance between two ends of the arcs is f and the
shortest distance between the staggered sheet arc metal pieces in the upper and lower rows is w, wherein 0<d<D, d<f, and 0<w<=d. According tothe invention, a double-C structure is employed for replacing a
metal cylinder in a conventional SIW, and the technical problems that the OFF state of a traveling wave is not ideal, the Q value of aline cavity is reduced and the outward
radiation of the electromagnetic
waves is increased, which are caused by the leaking of the electromagnetic
waves caused by two rows of metal cylinders of the conventional SIW structure, in the transmission process are solved under the condition that a no-TM mode is guaranteed.
