The invention discloses a novel composite
clarifying agent and a preparation method thereof, the novel composite
clarifying agent comprises the following raw materials by weight: 20-40 parts of
dolomite, 20-30 parts of limestone, 5-10 parts of
anhydrous sodium sulphate, 3-5 parts of
cerium oxide, 5-10 parts of
chitosan, 3-5 parts of poly dimethyl diallyl
ammonium chloride and 3-5 parts of a composite additive, and the invention relates to the technical field of inorganic
nonmetal material preparation. According to the novel composite
clarifying agent and the preparation method thereof,
cerium oxide and
sodium nitrate have a synergistic effect to generate
oxygen,
sodium sulfate and sodium
chloride have a synergistic effect to generate
chlorine, and
tin oxide and
water vapor react to generate
hydrogen, so that a multi-gas synergistic effect is formed, and bubbles in
molten glass are rapidly combined, grow, float and are discharged. According to the present invention, the prepared
clarifier can continuously act for 72-100 h at the high temperature of 1550-1610 DEG C, the bubble
elimination rate can achieve more than 98%, which is improved by 15-20% compared with the traditional
clarifier, and the modern
green manufacturing requirement can be met by abandoning the highly toxic
white arsenic (As2O3) and the
fluorine-containing compound and adopting the non-toxic and harmless
cerium oxide,
tin oxide and other components.
