39 results about "Skatole" patented technology

Skatole or 3-methylindole is a mildly toxic white crystalline organic compound belonging to the indole family. It occurs naturally in feces (it is produced from tryptophan in the mammalian digestive tract) and coal tar and has a strong fecal odor. In low concentrations, it has a flowery smell and is found in several flowers and essential oils, including those of orange blossoms, jasmine, and Ziziphus mauritiana. It is used as a fragrance and fixative in many perfumes and as an aroma compound. Its name is derived from the Greek root skato- meaning "feces". Skatole was discovered in 1877 by the German physician Ludwig Brieger (1849–1919). Skatole is also used by U.S. military in its non-lethal weaponry; specifically, malodorants.

Method for producing biological feed additive by using cassava residue and waste alcohol sediment liquid

The invention discloses a method for producing a biological feed additive by using cassava residue and waste alcohol sediment liquid. The method comprises the steps of mixing the waste alcohol sediment liquid and the cassava residue according to the weight ratio of (5-10): (3-4), sterilizing, inoculating strains, then, fermenting, and drying a fermented cassava residue mixture, thereby finally obtaining the biological feed additive containing a large number of microbial thalli, wherein the inoculated strains are prepared from bacillus subtilis, bacillus licheniformis and aspergillus niger which are in the flora number ratio of (1-2): (1-3): (1-4), and the weight ratio of the strains to a moist cassava residue mixture is (5-10): 100. The method has the advantages that in the produced biological feed additive, the content of crude protein is not lower than 16%, the content of amino acids is not lower than 1.6%, and the biological feed additive per gram contains not smaller than 1.0*105 probiotic bacillus, so that sufficient nutrition can be guaranteed; the biological feed additive is subjected to high-degree acclimatization with the PH value of about 3.0 during fermentation, so that the passing of a test of gastric acid of breeding objects is facilitated, and the effect of promoting growth is exerted; meanwhile, the generation of ammonia gas (NH3), hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and skatole is inhibited, so that the air environment of farms is improved.

Ecological organic fertilizer for saline-alkali soil

The invention relates to the technical field of improvement of saline-alkali soil and in particular relates to an ecological organic fertilizer for saline-alkali soil. The ecological organic fertilizer comprises corresponding components in parts by weight: 33-40 parts of cake fertilizers, 30-38 parts of attapulgite, 27-37 parts of chicken manure, 22-28 parts of rotted leaves, 22-28 parts of sesbania, 18-23 parts of dry quicksand, 18-25 parts of ammonium nitrate, 10-20 parts of monoammonium phosphate, 7-12 parts of potassium sulfate and 3-6 parts of microbial powder. The cake fertilizer and thechicken manure contain lots of organic matters and are capable of reducing saline alkali property of the soil; the attapulgite is a clay mineral, has unique laminated structure characteristics, highwater absorption property and a certain bonding capacity and can achieve effects of excessive moisture in the chicken manure and sesbania, preventing ventilation influence due to high humidity in thefermentation process and performing anaerobic glycolysis to produce volatile fatty acids, hydrogen sulfide, skatole and the like; and the microbial powder is capable of oxidizing ammonia ions into nitrate ions to be dissolved into water and preventing the ammonia ions from being degraded into ammonia gas to avoid overflowing.
