299 results about "Valeric acid" patented technology

Valeric acid, or pentanoic acid, is a straight-chain alkyl carboxylic acid with the chemical formula CH3(CH2)3COOH. Like other low-molecular-weight carboxylic acids, it has a very unpleasant odor. It is found naturally in the perennial flowering plant valerian (Valeriana officinalis), from which it gets its name. Its primary use is in the synthesis of its esters. Salts and esters of valeric acid are known as valerates or pentanoates. Volatile esters of valeric acid tend to have pleasant odors and are used in perfumes and cosmetics. Ethyl valerate and pentyl valerate are used as food additives because of their fruity flavors.

Aerated concrete block capable of adsorbing toxic and harmful gases and preparation method of aerated concrete block

The invention discloses an aerated concrete block capable of adsorbing toxic and harmful gases and a preparation method of the aerated concrete block. The aerated concrete block is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 42-68 parts of yellow sands, 10-15 parts of nano black stones, 12-16 parts of a zeolite molecular sieve, 18-26 parts of allophone, 22-28 parts of wood dust, 15-20 parts of ground calcium carbonate powder, 26-34 parts of sea mud, 16-22 parts of attapulgite, 10-15 parts of alpha type semi-hydrated gypsum, 3-6 parts of carbomer resin, 1-2 parts of modified aluminum powder, 2-3 parts of sodium thiosulfate, 2-3 parts of zinc sulfate and 1-2 parts of azodiisobutyronitrile. The substances including the nano black stones, the zeolite molecular sieve and the like with outstanding physical adsorption functions are added into the aerated concrete block disclosed by the invention, so that the aerated concrete bock can adsorb harmful gases of formaldehyde, benzene compounds, sulfur oxide, nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, isovaleric acid, methyl mercaptan, trimethylamine (fishy), TVOC (total volatile organic compounds) and the like to achieve a function of purifying air; and meanwhile, the aerated concrete block has the characteristics of high strength, good heat insulation and heat preservation properties, good sound isolation effect, heat resistance, moisture resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance and the like, and has a broad market prospect.

Stabilized L-Arginine platelet aggregation inhibitory compositions and processes for making same

Linking Magnesium ions to Nitric Oxide precursor L-Arginine, chemically 2-amino-5-guanidino valeric acid, with a platelet aggregation inhibitor compound such as, but not limited to acetylsalicylic acid or clopidogrel bisulfate, unexpectedly results in a pharmaceutically stabilized compositions with extended shelf life to be taken orally to provide gradual release vasodilatory and anti-platelet aggregation pharmacological activity with reduced potential for producing gastrointestinal lesions. L-Arginine releases ADNO (Arginine derived Nitric Oxide) in the coronary artery epithelium as EDRF (endothelium dependent relaxing factor) to dilate the arteries to promote blood flow to the myocardium, and the platelet aggregation inhibitor such acetylsalicylic acid or clopidogrel and others of this class of drugs inhibits or antagonizes the aggregation adhesion of platelets in the blood stream. Aggregated or clumped blood platelets contribute to arterial stenosis due to formation of atherosclerotic plaques that occlude coronary and other circulatory arteries. In addition to coronary arteries, atherosclerotic plaques can occlude and stenose carotid arteries and femoral arteries due to aggregated or clumped blood platelets, and the subject of this patent discovery will also be of cardiovascular health benefit respectively in preventing carotid cerebrovascular accidents and femoral artery leg circulation disease.

Trans-N-(4- hydroxyl-3-methoxybenzy)-8-methyl-5-nonenamide and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses trans-N-(4-hydroxyl-3-methoxybenzy)-8-methyl-5-nonenamide which has a structural formula as shown in a formula (1). The trans-N-(4-hydroxyl-3-methoxybenzy)-8-methyl-5-nonenamide is prepared by the following steps of: carrying out a single bromination reaction on pentanediol to generate 5-bromo-pentanol; oxidizing the 5-bromo-pentanol to generate 5-bromo-valeric acid; reacting the 5-bromo-valeric acid with triphenylphosphorus to generate (5-carboxyl-amyl)triphenylbromophosphine; reacting the (5-carboxyl-amyl)triphenylbromophosphine with isovaleraldehyde to generate cis-8-methyl-5-nonenoic acid; reacting the cis-8-methyl-5-nonenoic acid with a sodium nitrite/nitric acid solution to obtain trans-8-methyl-5-nonenoic acid; reacting the trans-8-methyl-5-nonenoic acid with an acetylation reagent to obtain trans-8-methyl-5-enoic acid chloride; reacting vanillin with ammonium formate to obtain vanillic amine; acidizing the vanillic amine and neutralizing with alkali liquor; and then reacting the mixture with the trans-8-methyl-5-enoic acid chloride to obtain the trans-N-(4-hydroxyl-3-methoxybenzy)-8-methyl-5-nonenamide. The invention has the advantages of simple and convenient process and mild reaction conditions; and the prepared product provides a new development space for the research on capsaicin substances. The formula (1) is described in specification.

Method for extracting n-butyric acid, valeric acid and hexoic acid from lyechange as by-product of cyclohexanone production

The invention relates to a method for extracting n-butyric acid, valeric acid and hexoic acid from lyechange as a by-product of cyclohexanone production. The method comprises the following steps: carrying out preprocessing on a sodium sulfate aqueous solution; preprocessing the evaporated mother liquor; conveying slurry in a concentration jar for concentration; washing the concentrated salt with a small amount of water; discharging the water for washing and the crystallization water into a delamination jar of the sodium sulfate aqueous solution through an outlet of the concentration jar; discharging the concentrated salt into a centrifugal machine for centrifugal dehydration from the concentration jar; self-flowing water dehydrated from the centrifugal machine into the delamination jar of the sodium sulfate aqueous solution through high order difference; re-separating organic matters in the crystallization water and the water dehydrated from the centrifugal machine; carrying out warming and reduced pressure distillation on saponifiedoil by using an enamelstill, a stainless steel kettle or a film evaporator; adding a reasonable amount of lower alcohol into the tail oil obtained by distilling monobasic acid; and carrying out esterification reaction on the tail oil and conversing the remained organic acid into esters.
