The invention relates to an
infrared switching method and device for a
network camera, a storage medium and the
network camera. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining real-
time data shot by thenetwork camera; judging whether the
current time is in the
daytime or at night according to the real-
time data by utilizing a set classifier, and if the
current time is in the
daytime, controlling aninfrared light-emitting
diode of the
network camera to be in a turn-off state; and, if the
current time is at night, controlling the
infrared light-emitting
diode to be in a turn-on state, wherein theset classifier is a classifier, which is obtained by
offline learning on an environment, where the network camera is; the definition of an image shot by the network camera in the
daytime is greater than a set definition threshold value; and furthermore, the definition of an image shot by the network camera at night is less than or equal to the set definition threshold value. According to the
infrared switching method and device for the network camera, the storage medium and the network camera disclosed by the invention, the infrared light-emitting
diode can be intelligently controlled to be switched between the turn-on state and the turn-off state only through the set classifier; hardware resources do not need to be extra occupied; and thus, the production cost of the network camera is reduced.
