The invention relates to a sewage treatment process with a biological filter, particularly to a sewage treatment process with a biological filter filled with elastic fibers. The process comprises the following steps of: (1) packing elastic fibers in an opening biological filter with the natural extension length of the elastic fiber being 50-90% of the biological filter height; (2) compressing the elastic fibers to 50-60% of the natural extension length; closing a water outlet port of the biological filter, introducing sewage into the biological filter from a water inlet port, uniformly distributing via a top plate provided with water inlet pores, allowing water to naturally fall into the elastic fibers for percolation treatment, and closing the water inlet port; and allowing the sewage to stand inside the biological filter for 1.5-2.5 hours; (3) opening the water outlet port of the biological filter, allowing the water treated by elastic fibers to naturally flow out under the gravity action, and operating the biological filter without water for 1.5-2.5 hours; and (4) repeating the steps (2) and (3). The inventive process has the advantages of high hydraulic load and high sewage treatment efficiency; and can rapidly solve clogging problem.
