QKD system and method with improved signal-to-noise ratio

Systems and methods for performing quantum key distribution (QKD) that allow for an improved signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) when providing active compensation for differences that arise in the system's relative optical paths. The method includes generating at one QKD station (Alice) a train of quantum signals having a first wavelength and interspersing one or more strong control signals having a second wavelength in between the quantum signals. Only the quantum signals are modulated when the quantum and control signals travel over the first optical path at Alice. The quantum and control signals are sent to Bob, where only the quantum signals are modulated as both signal types travel over a second optical path at Bob. The control signals are directed to two different photodetectors by an optical splitter. The proportion of optical power detected by each photodetector represents the optical path difference between the first and second optical paths. This difference is then compensated for via a control signal sent to a path-length-adjusting element in one of the optical paths. The control signals provides a high SNR that allows for commercially viable QKD system that can operate with a high qubit rate and a small qubit error rate (QBER) in the face of real-world sources of noise.

Sun tracking system

The present invention discloses a solar tracking system. The system uses four optical signal acquisition units as electrical signal sources to control a rotating part of a solar utilizing device to rotate toward an appointed direction. Each optical signal acquisition unit is a container which allows the entering of sunrays from only one direction through an opening, and other directions are sealed or do not allow the entering of sunrays because the container is downward when being arranged or because the container is blocked by other articles. A photosensitive element or a thermosensitive element is arranged inside the container. The openings of the four optical signal acquisition units are toward four directions which are east, west, south and north. The easterly opening and the westerly opening form a group and the southerly opening and the northerly opening form a group. The photosensitive element or the thermosensitive element is different in electrical state when receiving illumination with different intensities. The electrical state is converted into an electrical signal. The electrical signals of the two photosensitive elements or thermosensitive elements in each group are inputted into a comparison circuit to compare. The compared result is used for driving a rotating device to rotate toward the direction with comparatively intense illumination.

The invention relates to a two-stage refrigeration liquefier and an organic solvent recovery method and system. The two-stage refrigeration liquefier comprises a compressor, a condenser, a first-stage evaporator, a second-stage evaporator, a gas-liquid separator, a throttling valve and an ejector, and the first-stage evaporator and the second-stage evaporator are connected in parallel and located between the gas-liquid separator and the ejector; the gas-liquid separator, the compressor, the condenser, the ejector and the first-stage evaporator are sequentially connected to form a first circulation loop, and the gas-liquid separator, the throttling valve, the second-stage evaporator, the ejector and the first-stage evaporator are sequentially connected to form a second circulation loop. According to the main treatment method of the organic solvent recovery method, the secondary refrigeration liquefier with the ejector is adopted to realize the secondary refrigeration temperature. The pretreatment comprises pressurization, water cooling, drying and pre-cooling, the post-treatment comprises condensed liquid dehydration, uncondensed gas adsorption, emission and desorption gas return condensation circulation, full recovery and zero emission are truly realized, and an organic solvent is directly reused after recovery.

ActiveCN105862057BEasy to operateThe preparation process is easy to coordinateElectrolysis componentsDoped graphenePhosphate
The invention provides a phosphorus-doped graphene quantum dot and an electrochemistry preparing method thereof. According to the preparing method, phosphorus-contained macromolecular organic compounds soluble in water are selected to serve as electrolytes, through controlled potential electrolyzing, phosphorus oxygen bonds are broken, phosphorus atoms are separated from the macromolecular organic compounds to enter the interior of the graphene quantum dot, carbon phosphorus bonds and the phosphorus oxygen bonds are formed, doping is completed, and the phosphorus-doped graphene quantum dot with the higher doping concentration content is prepared; the quantum dot has the good cleaning-up effect on hydroxyl radicals, and through ESR energy spectrum test, the clearing-up rate of the hydroxyl radicals can reach 78.49%; the method is easy and convenient in the operation process, the whole preparing process is conveniently planed as a whole, strong oxidizing acid or strong reducing agents are not used, and certain commercial feasibility is achieved; and graphene precursor which is rich in reserving and friendly to environment is adopted to replace expensive materials of graphite oxide, carbon nano-tubes and the like, and the method is hopefully and widely applied in the biomedical field.
