The house comprises an underground room and a ground room, a middle cavity used for storing and discharging the wateris formed in the underground room, multiple peripheral cavities communicated with the middle cavity are formed around the middle cavity, a water level sensor is arranged on the upper portion of the middle cavity, water inlets and water discharging ports are formed in the peripheral cavities respectively, first valves and water suction pumps are arranged at the water discharging ports, second valves are arranged at the water inlets, third valves are arranged at the communicating positions of the middle cavity and the peripheral cavities, and the water level sensor, the first valves, the watersuction pumps, the second valves and the third valves are controlled through a control box. The floating house has the remarkable advantages that in a wet season, rainwater is stored in the middle cavity and the peripheral cavities in the underground room, and water resources are accumulated; in a dry season, the stored water resources can be guided out, treated and utilized; the floating house can float without toppling when encountering heavy rainfall or in a flood disaster period, and is prevented from suffering water entering and soaking in the water.
