The invention belongs to the technical field of underwater submersibles, and in particular relates to a buoyancy adjusting device based on a sea water pump. The device includes a half-meter ball device and a half-meter ball device and an electro-hydraulic control part, wherein the half-meter ball device includes a spherical shell, an oil barrel, a multi-stage cylinder, a piston, a displacement sensor and an inner chamber. The inner chamber further includes a sea water chamber and an air chamber. The electro-hydraulic control part includes a solenoid valve, a filling valve, an electromagnetic reversing valve, the sea water pump, a drive controller, a motor, safety valves, a solenoid valve, a throttle orifice, a filter, a check valve, a solenoid valve, a filter and a check valve. The half-meter ball device and the electro-hydraulic control part are connected through two pipes, one pipe is communicated with the sea water chamber in the spherical shell, and the other pipe is communicated with the inner chamber. The buoyancy adjusting device based on the sea water pump is used for accurately regulating buoyancy which the underwater submersibles such as a UUV are subjected to, and the accuracy, environmental protection and space utilization rate of the buoyancy adjusting device are improved.
