The signal switch gating device comprises n key switches respectively connected with the test instruments, each key switch contains N+1 small switches which are linked, and the first small switch to the Nth small switch of the ith key switch are respectively and directly connected with a non-radio-frequency signal interface of the ith broadcasting station; the N+1th small switch of the ith key switch controls an ith radio-frequency switch unit and is used for connecting or switching off radio-frequency signals of the ith broadcasting station; wherein n is greater than or equal to 2, 1 is smaller than or equal to i which is smaller than or equal to n, and N is greater than or equal to 1. With the signal switch gating device and method, operation steps of manually replacing cables one by one are avoided, and test efficiency is greatly improved.
