harmonic frequency mixer. The 420GHz 10th
harmonic frequency mixer comprises a radio-frequency input
waveguide, a radio-frequency
waveguide-suspended micro-strip transition structure, a
diode, a radio-frequency suppression low-pass filter, a
local oscillator waveguide-suspended micro-strip transition structure, a
local oscillator input waveguide and an intermediate-frequency filter, which are connected in sequence, wherein a radio-frequency
signal is input by the radio-frequency input waveguide and is fed into the
diode after coupled by the radio-frequency waveguide-suspended
microstrip transition structure; the intermediate-frequency filter, the
local oscillator waveguide-suspended micro-strip transition structure and the local oscillator input waveguide form a local oscillator-intermediate-frequency
duplexer together; a
local oscillator signal is input by the local oscillator input waveguide and is fed into the
diode after passing through the
duplexer and the radio-frequency suppression low-pass filter in sequence;
frequency mixing is carried out on the radio-frequency
signal and the
local oscillator signal in the diode, and a
frequency mixing signal is output; and the radio-frequency suppression low-pass filter is a 9-order CMRC (Compact
Microstrip Resonant
Cell) low-pass filter with a wide stop-band. According to the 420GHz 10th
harmonic frequency mixer, by adopting a 10th harmonic
frequency mixing way, the local oscillator frequency is greatly reduced; meanwhile, by adopting the 9-order CMRC low-pass filter, the circuit dimension is effectively reduced.
