The invention relates to a preparation method of an aldehyde-removing catalyst, comprising the following steps: (1) dispersing graphene oxide in deionized water, then adding an aqueous solution of sodium carbonate dropwise thereto, and adjusting the pH value of the solution to 9-10, which is recorded as Solution A; (2) Disperse metal salt and complexing agent in deionized water, then add platinum precursor solution, stir evenly, record as solution B; (3) add solution B to solution A, stir evenly to form Solution C; (4) move solution C into a hydrothermal kettle, and keep it warm at 90-200°C for 8-24 hours; (5) separate solid-liquid from the heated solution C obtained in step (4), and freeze the separated solid substance drying; (6) calcining the dried solid matter obtained in step (5) at 200-500° C. for 1-4 hours in a nitrogen atmosphere to obtain the catalyst.
