The invention provides a breeding method of Taiwan loaches. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, selecting loaches, the female loach being greater than or equal to 15 cm in length, one tail being greater than or equal to 20 g in weight, male loach being greater than or equal to 10 cm in length and one tail being greater than or equal to 7 to 10 g in weight, at last ten-day of April, then respectively putting the selected loaches into mesh cages, performing incubation culture with the water temperature being 18 DEG C, secondly, injecting oxytocic hormone 0.2 milliliters for each female loach and 0.1 milliliter for each male loach from the back to the head at the angle of inclination of 45 degree, with the needling depth being 0.2 cm, then putting the loaches into the mesh cages for awaiting delivery, thirdly, adopting a dry method of artificial fertilization, taking away the loaches, incubating fertile eggs in the condition of slow flowing water, with the water temperature being 22 to 25 DEG C, and fourthly, transferring young loaches into a pool with good water quality for breeding after young loaches are hatched for three days, ensuring that breeding material adopts cooked egg yolk, and respectively putting the loaches into the pool according to different sizes, with a standard that 100 to 150 loaches with the length being 5 to 6 cm are put into each square meter of water and 50 to 80 loaches with the length being 7 to 8 cm are put into each square meter of water. The method is scientific and reasonable during the whole process, meets the living habit of Taiwan loaches, and can improve the breeding reliability and increase the survival rate.
