The invention relates to a fast current protection method with a channel applicable to distribution networks containing DGs, which adopts directional current protection, only actuates the protection when the forward fault occurs, and can set the realization of the switching of the functions of the conventional directional current protection with three stages and the fast current protection with the channel by setting control words. When no channel is selected, a working mode is the conventional directional current protection with three stages, namely stage I is instantaneous current fast tripping protection, and stage II and stage III are constant time lag fast tripping protection; and when the channel is selected, the working mode is the fast current protection with the channel, namely stage I and stage II are used for starting fast current protection, and stage II and stage III are still the constant time lag fast tripping protection. The method supports the function of commanding direct tripping, and can receive remote tripping signals sent by other protection devices to realize direct tripping. The method configures a flexible three-phase one-shot auto-reclosing function which is used for removing transient fault, and can realize direct fast re-closing, non-voltage re-closing of check lines or synchronism check re-closing. The protection has flexible configuration, and can well adapt to the distribution networks containing the DGs.

Silicide compositions containing alkali metals and methods of making the same

The invention relates to Group 1 metal/silica gel compositions comprising silica gel and an alkali metal or an alkali metal alloy. The compositions of the inventions are described as Stage 0, I, II, and III materials. These materials differ in their preparation and chemical reactivity. Each successive stage may be prepared directly using the methods described below or from an earlier stage material. Stage 0 materials may, for example, be prepared using liquid alloys of Na and K which are rapidly absorbed by silica gel (porous Si02) under isothermal conditions, preferably at or just above room temperature, to form loose black powders that retain much of the reducing ability of the parent metals. When the low melting Group 1 metals are absorbed into the silica gel, a mild exothermic reaction produces Stage I material, loose black powders that are indefinitely stable in dry air. Subsequent heating to 400 DEG C produces Stage II materials, which are also loose black powders. Further heating above 400 DEG C forms Stage III material with release of some Group 1 metal. It is believed that Stage I, II and III materials represent reductions of the silica gel after absorption of the Group 1 metal. Preferred Group 1 metal/silica gel compositions of the invention are those containing sodium, potassium, or sodium-potassium alloys with sodium and sodium- potassium alloys being most preferred. Each stage of the Group 1 metal/silica gel composition of the invention may be used as a reducing agent reacting with a number of reducible organic materials in the same manner known for alkali metals and their alloys.

The treatment method is as follows: limewater is added into acidic waste water ready for treatment to adjust the acidic waste water into neutral waste water; soluble calcium chloride is added to the obtained mixture of neutral waste water and the sediments to ensure that the residual sulfate ion combines with the calcium ion to generate slightly soluble calcium sulfate deposition; the obtained mixture of waste water and the sediment is discharged to a stage I sedimentation tank, and a coagulant, a heavy metal ion collector and a flocculant are added in sequence to accelerate the gathering of copper hydroxide sediments, tin hydroxide sediments and calcium sulfate sediments so as to enlarge the volume of various sediments and separate the waste water and the sediments; the obtained mixture of waste water and the sediments are discharged into a stage II sedimentation tank from the water discharged from the stage I sedimentation tank so as to further separate the water and the sediments. The invention can ensure the sulfate ion in the tinning waste water reach the discharge standard and lower the treatment cost at the same time.

The method is as follows: the stage I reactor and the stage II reactor which are filled with different catalysts are used to perform catalytic hydrogenation on CO2 to generate C1-C3 alkanes, methanol, dimethyl ether, CO and other low alcohols and ethers; H2S does not participate in the reaction and is absorbed by an alkanolamine solution in the absorption tower; the produced alcohol and ether are cooled and recycled; CO, H2 and hydrocarbons cannot be absorbed and directly enter the pipe network, and after purification and solvent regeneration, H2S is released and is in contact with NaOH for reaction to produce NaHS.
