A high-performance wind tunnel plate-type water-cooled hinge torque balance measurement system

This invention proposes a plate-type water-cooled hinge torque balance measurement system for hypersonic wind tunnels, belonging to the field of wind tunnel testing and measurement technology. The aim is to solve the problem in existing technologies where control surfaces are difficult to externally cool due to their thin structure, making hinge torque measurement challenging. In this invention, the aircraft fuselage, wing, and plate-type water-cooled hinge torque balance are connected. The plate-type water-cooled hinge torque balance has an upper cover plate and a lower cover plate at its top and bottom, respectively, with the upper surface of the lower cover plate flush with the aircraft fuselage. The free end of the plate-type water-cooled hinge torque balance, the balance measuring element, and the fuselage mounting base are connected sequentially. The free end of the balance is connected to the control surface being measured via angle lugs. Strain gauges are attached to the surface of the balance measuring element, and the internal structure of the balance measuring element includes a water-cooling circuit. This invention solves the problems in existing technologies where high temperatures significantly reduce measurement accuracy in hypersonic wind tunnel tests, and the thin structure of wing control surfaces makes external cooling difficult, resulting in challenging hinge torque measurement.
