The invention provides a counter range dragging method based on alpha-beta filtering. The method comprises the steps of (S1) carrying out alpha-beta filtering on a target movement trajectory continuously, (S2) if an AGC has a falling edge jump, going to a step (S3), otherwise assigning a memory tracking distance with a filtering distance, and going to the step (S1), (S3) carrying out extrapolation initialization, and assigning the extrapolation speed of memory tracking with a current filtering speed, (S4) carrying out memory extrapolation according to a memory tracking distance of a final time and the extrapolation speed before interference, (S5) if a difference between the memory tracking distance and an actually measured difference is larger than a threshold, performing a step (S6), otherwise returning to the step (S4), (S6) sending the memory tracking distance to correct a range gate, (S7) if the differences between the memory tracking distances and actually measured differences of 100 consecutive frames are larger than a threshold, performing a step (S8), otherwise returning to the step (S4), and (S8) correcting the memory tracking distance and the extrapolation speed with a filtering value, and returning to the step (S4). The method has the advantages of a small amount of alpha-beta filtering calculation and high real-time performance, the method is used for counter range dragging, the requirement of speed measuring precision can be greatly reduced, and the method is suitable for practical application of engineering.
