The invention discloses an attapulgite-slate-coal ash ceramsite hollow block. The key point of the technical scheme is that the hollow block comprises the following materials: attapulgite clay tailing, slates, coal ash, spheroidal attapulgite coal ash ceramsite, a volcaniclastic rock mixture, bentonite tailing, cement, polypropylene reticular fiber and a polycarboxylic acid high-performance water-reducing agent. According to the method, the materials are uniformly stirred and pressed to semi-manufactured product of the hollow block, which is subjected to regular maintenance for 28 days, and then is packed so as to form the finished product of the hollow block provided by the invention. The hollow block provided by the invention has the advantages of high strength, crack prevention, heat preservation, energy conservation, sound insulation, heat insulation, water absorption of not more than 20 percent, and good freeze-proof performance. According to invention, as the materials including a large amount of various wastes are utilized, not only the resource utilization rate is improved, wastes are changed into value of things, but also the land occupation is reduced, the environment is protected and purified, and the energy is saved. Therefore, the hollow block provided by the invention is suitable for wall construction.
