Method for activating attapulgite

The invention discloses a method for activating attapulgite. The method specifically comprises the steps of (1) purifying the attapulgite, grinding and pulverizing the attapulgite, screening the attapulgite until the attapulgite with the particle size of being smaller than 2mm is retained, then mixing the attapulgite with deionized water, and performing stirring, stewing, filtering and drying; and (2) activating the attapulgite, heating the prepared attapulgite from room temperature to 250 DEG C, enabling water steam to be in contact with the attapulgite by taking inert gas N2 as carrier gas for reaction, further raising the temperature to 300-350 DEG C, preserving the heat for 1-2 hours, starting to cool the attapulgite, stopping feeding the water steam, and taking out the attapulgite after the attapulgite is cooled to the room temperature. The method has the advantages that (1) the attapulgite is activated through the water steam, and no pickling wastewater is emitted in the treatment process, so that the environment protection efficiency in a production process is improved; (2) due to the water steam activation treatment under proper temperature, the surface performance of the attapulgite can be improved, and the application field of the attapulgite can be further expanded.

The invention provides a preparation method of an amorphous state carbon nano tube, which comprises the following steps of (1) enabling an attapulgite to be placed in a container for roasting at 200-500 DEG C and conducting thermal activating treatment or adding in 1 mol/L-5 mol/L acid for conducting acid activating treatment; (2) enabling activated attapulgite and carbon source materials to be added in water for evenly mixing according to the mass ratio of 1:1-3, enabling water solution of evenly mixed attapulgite-carbon source material to be placed in a high pressure reactor which is placedin a homogeneous phase reactor, keeping warm at 130-180 DEG C for 6h-48h to obtain a precursor; and (3) enabling the precursor to fire for 3-6 hours at 600-900 DEG C under the atmosphere of N2 protection, enabling products to cool to reach room temperature along a furnace after firing, using hydrogen fluoride (HF) solution to fully wash, removing formworks in products, leaving carbon, using densehydrogen chloride (HCl) to wash and purify the carbon, finally using water to wash until neutral is achieved, filtering and stoving to obtain needed amorphous state carbon nano tube. The invention relates to a preparation method of an adsorbing material and a composite material, in particular to a preparation method of an attapulgite/zirconia composite defluorinating material. The preparation method is characterized by comprising the following steps of: (1) selecting raw materials: respectively weighing zircon salt and Na-activated attapulgite for later use according to the mass ratio of (3:6)-(5:6), and preparing the zircon salt into a zircon salt solution; (2) preparing the attapulgite into 5 percent by weight of suspensions, and stirring to obtain attapulgite suspensions; (3) dropwise adding the zircon salt solution to the attapulgite suspensions, stirring, then regulating the pH to 5.0-5.5 by using a NaOH solution, and ageing to obtain slurry; and (4) centrifugalizing the slurry, drying an obtained filter cake, soaking and activating an obtained dried material in an aluminum salt solution for more than 4 hours, washing with deionized water till no SO4<2-> exists, drying, and finely grinding to obtain the attapulgite/zirconia composite defluorinating material. The attapulgite/zirconia composite defluorinating material prepared with the method has the advantages of larger adsorption capacity, low cost and recyclability and can be used for the defluorination of underground water and industrial waste water.
