The present application belongs to the technical field of
epoxy primer, and particularly relates to a water-based
epoxy zinc-rich primer, a preparation method and application thereof. The water-based
epoxy zinc-rich primer is prepared by using non-continuous point-like silica modified composite
zinc powder as a
cathodic protection functional filler, using modified epoxy resin as a film-forming base material, and combining with a modified aminoethyl
piperazine curing agent, and has long-term
cathodic protection performance and excellent
hydrolysis resistance. The composite zinc
powder is constructed by spherical and flaky zinc
powder to form a continuous conductive network and a physical anti-
settling structure. A point-like
passivation layer formed by mild activation of
glycolic acid and targeted adsorption of acidic silica
sol can close the high active sites of zinc powder while ensuring
electron conduction. The modified epoxy resin has self-emulsifying dispersibility and zinc powder coordination stability. The curing agent realizes water-based
adaptation and storage stability through epoxy addition and reversible capping. After construction and unsealing, the curing agent can form a dense cross-linked paint film with the epoxy resin, thereby improving the long-term
corrosion protection service performance of the primer.
