The invention relates to a novel organosilicon carrier system for biological agents that is produced via a simple, stable and reproducible preparation process that is capable of maintaining tertiary protein structure and biological activity of the proteins and/or other biological agents in the mixture, whereby the carrier system is obtainable by mixing one or more organosilicon compounds, selected from the group comprising organosilicon, sugar organosilicon, amino sugar organosilicon compounds, their derivatives, salts and/or the vesicles formed from them, with one or more biological agents, selected from the group comprising antigens, preantigens, antigen conjugates, antibodies, pre-antibodies, antibody conjugates, allergens, allergen extracts, nucleic acids, plasmids, proteins, peptides, pharmaceutical agents, immunologically active substances and/or cosmetics, in solution at a pH value between 7 and 8, preferably 7.4, followed by homogenisation or sonication of the mixture, followed by sterile filtration of the mixture, followed by lyophilisation.

To provide a novel cement which is alkalescent, capable of solidifying a wide range of soil and applicable to biological environment. A guide for as transmission device such as a chain or belt, is injection molded using a sandwich-molding process. The sandwhich-molded guide comprises a slide rail on which a chain or belt slides, and a rail supporting member intergrally provided along with the slide rail. The slide rail is composed of a material the principle component of which is first polymeric material having wear resistance and heat resistance, and the rail supporting member is composed of a material the principle component of which is a second polymeric material having higher strength than the material having the first polymeric material as its principle component. An electronic percussion instrument pedal device uses a spring structure in a space between a bottom structure and a foot pedal board structure to regulate the movement of the foot pedal board structure. The wheel bearing device according to the present invention is that in which a stem shaft 12 of an outer joint component of a constant velocity universal joint 3 fitted into a hole section 22 of a hub wheel 1 is integrated with the hub wheel 1 by a projection and recess mating structure M. In the projection and recess mating structure M, an overall recess mating area 38 of a projection 35 is in close contact with a corresponding recess 36.

A ring-shaped reinforcing ring (13) formed of, for example, silicon, is adhered to one surface of a thinly processed semiconductor substrate (11). An expandable clamp having a first jaw and a second jaw each having a rear end pivotally linking together, and an elastic member urging the first and the second jaws in a closing position in which the first and the second jaws touch each other. The fist jaw further has a first shoulder inclining inward, on which two first jaw necks are formed, leaving a space therebetween. To produce lead-free projectiles, iron and copper are melted at a predetermined ratio and rapidly quenched to yield a fine-grained microstructure with uniformly distributed copper and iron phases. The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a two-component tissue adhesive having high adhesive strength and high biocompatibility; and a method for producing the two-component tissue adhesive. The present invention involves a two-component tissue adhesive comprising hydrophobically-modified gelatin as a first agent and a cross-linking reagent as a second agent. The hydrophobically-modified gelatin is provided with an amino group and a hydrophobic group on the side chain thereof, and the cross-linking reagent has two or more active ester groups or anhydrides within a single molecule.

A two-piece cable tie for bundling a plurality of objects, such as cables or wires, includes a front portion that is insert-molded onto a connective segment of a flexible strap, the front portion being constructed out of a higher tensile strength plastic than the strap to maximize the load rating of the tie without significantly increasing material costs. In one embodiment, the connective segment of the strap is shaped to include a pair of opposing semi-circular cutouts in its side rails to enhance the strength of mechanical bonding achieved by the front portion around the strap. In addition, the connective segment is shaped to include a circular hole that is offset longitudinally from the opposing cutouts, the diameter of the circular opening not exceeding 40% of the maximum width of the strap to ensure the integrity and strength of the strap along the entirety of its length.

A constant velocity joint for a drive system comprises: an outer joint member having a plurality of inwardly facing outer ball grooves, the outer ball grooves consisting of a first group of grooves and a second group of grooves with composite or non-linear groove pattern; an inner joint member disposed inside the outer joint member and having a plurality of outwardly facing inner ball grooves consisting of a first group of grooves and a second group of grooves with composite or non-linear groove pattern, each inner ball groove of the inner joint member being coupled with a corresponding outer ball groove of the outer joint member generally in crossed pair; and a cage having circumferentially displaced cage windows to accommodate a plurality of balls therein. A support member is useful for supporting membranes such as solid polymer electrolyte ion exchange membranes such as those used in electrochemical cell applications. The support member has a first lattice pattern on a first side of a single piece of material. A second lattice pattern on a second side of the single piece of material cooperates with the first lattice pattern to establish a plurality of flow passages across the material. These cooperate to define a channel-like configuration which is structurally configured to receive a plurality of teeth of an upper jaw. The bedding product contained within the flexible bag is folded in half so that a head of the bedding product is aligned with a foot of the bedding product, and rolled from one lateral edge of the bedding product to an opposite lateral edge of the bedding product. The flexible bag containing the bedding product has an air-tight seal. One or more wheels are coupled with the bottom end of the elongated container so that the package can be rolled over a surface. The elongated container may have recesses formed in an outer surface for gripping the package.
